6. Giclée Prints
Giclée prints are now widely shown and distributed throughout the world. The main reason for the acceptance of the giclée print and its notable growth is its quality. In printing, no screen or other mechanical devices is used and therefore there is no visible dot screen pattern. Also, the special inks used for giclée are light-fast. The image has all the tonalities and hues of the original painting. In the following prints, all images are “enhanced”, meaning that the artist has retouched each print so that within the edition of 95, every print is slightly different from each other, making it the closest to its original without the price of the original.
